Qualtrics Acquires SurveyVitals, a Trusted Healthcare Experience and Analytics Company

Today, we are excited to share that we have acquired SurveyVitals, a 20-year healthcare experience and analytics expert that is helping organizations deliver incredible patient experiences at scale.

Providing great experiences is becoming increasingly important as healthcare providers compete for loyalty and trust from their employees and patients during a time of change in healthcare that has been accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s become mission-critical for healthcare organizations to optimize the patient and employee experience - not on a single site or through a single system, but across the entire continuum of care.

SurveyVitals is approved to administer 11 CAHPS® (Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) programs that govern the way organizations can collect information about patient experiences. The company is trusted by more than 350 healthcare organizations and 16,000 clinicians around the world, including U.S. Anesthesia Partners and Summit Medical Group, to gather and manage patient experiences.

More than 600 hospitals and health systems—including CHRISTUS Health, Community Health Network and Memorial Hermann Health—already trust Qualtrics to design experiences that help them build deeper relationships with their patients and employees. The addition of SurveyVitals continues to expand Qualtrics healthcare offerings that include omnichannel listening, 11 CAHPS certifications, and the recent hire of Dr. Adrienne Boissy, Chief Medical Officer.

With Qualtrics, healthcare systems will have a single, cloud-based platform to meet regulatory requirements and deliver superior performance with best-in-class technology. Through real-time feedback and automated action, organizations can improve friction points throughout the healthcare experience across all settings and channels.

“Today, hospitals and health systems are trying to design innovative, exceptional patient and employee experiences while also complying  with federal regulations. With SurveyVitals, Qualtrics delivers the best of both worlds,” said Boissy. “Through omni-channel listening and action to close the loop, deeper, more trusting relationships are built. This acquisition expands the landscape of what’s possible for healthcare organizations and the human experience of health.”

“For decades, SurveyVitals has been dedicated to improving patient care and transforming the patient experience,” said Blake Vosburgh, President, SurveyVitals. “By joining Qualtrics, we are advancing our mission and creating the most comprehensive patient and employee experience platform in the market.”

We are excited to welcome such a talented SurveyVitals team to Qualtrics.
